Once a month, always on a Friday, the “Marktküche” restaurant offers a lunch menu. The lunch menu features four surprise courses with select dishes from the dinner menu. It’s the perfect opportunity to discover the vegan cuisine of this gourmet restaurant.

Enjoy vegan or vegetarian cuisine at the “Neue Taverne” restaurant

Vegetables also take center stage at the “Neue Taverne” restaurant. Here, you can savor delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes. Don’t be alarmed – the portions are intentionally kept small, as they’re meant to be shared. For two people, we recommend four to six plates. These include dishes such as: Shokupan brioche with summer truffles and Parmesan, or tomato ceviche with onion, tarragon, and labneh.

Or treat yourself to the Tavolata menu and let the selection surprise you. Both options are well worth it, as the creative cuisine at the “Neue Taverne” restaurant has not only been awarded a Michelin star but also boasts 15 GaultMillau points. The Extraordinary Outdoor Restaurant “Blooms”

If you’re looking for a special dining experience, don’t miss a visit to “Blooms” during the summer months. At this outdoor restaurant, you can take a seat on a garden terrace surrounded by greenery and shaded by sun sails, and enjoy delicious vegan and vegetarian dishes.  

“Blooms” has been awarded 16 points by GaultMillau. Here, you have a choice: either try a four- to six-course “Chef’s Choice” menu or order à la carte. The meal might start, for example, with kohlrabi with citrus, sea greens, and jalapeños. The main course features cauliflower and savoy cabbage with cashews and black truffle. And a dessert with woodruff, almonds, and apple rounds out the experience.

“Blooms” is located in the elegant luxury hotel “The Dolder Grand,” which is part of American Express’s Fine Hotels + Resorts. Due to its seasonal concept, “Blooms” is not open year-round. The restaurant’s kitchen is even located outdoors. In 2026, the restaurant will be open from May through the end of September – but only when the weather is dry.
