SPIGA Ristorante
Is it possible for the authentic Italian lifestyle to be transformed into a simple dining experience? Yes! And SPIGA proves it at six vibrant locations in Switzerland.
Great Italian gastronomy at busy locations
In Italy, dining means much more than just sustenance. It’s an occasion for joy and relaxation and forgetting the stresses and strains of everyday life. That’s why SPIGA’s motto is to step inside, unwind, and experience some Italian joie-de-vivre. SPIGA has six havens of gastronomic delight in German-speaking Switzerland: at Westside train station in Bern, ShopVille in Zurich, Shoppi Tivoli in Spreitenbach, the Seedamm-Center in Pfäffikon SZ, the Glattzentrum in Zurich, and Steinbock near Chur train station. Each offers a wide variety of authentic Italian dishes in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere – just what’s needed at such hectic places. And if you’d prefer your meal to go, all dishes are also available to take away, or "da portare via". Buon appetito!
What do the guests order, what does the chef love?
We asked around at SPIGA in the Shoppi Tivoli in Spreitenbach. Right now, their crispy polenta bruschetta with cime di rapa and cream cheese and their creamy casarecce pasta with black truffle are particularly popular. And the chef? His choice of starter is marinated salmon with burrata. For his main course, he’d go for the chestnut gnocchi with pumpkin cream and local grated cheese.
