From entrecôte to moules et frites

Some 100 years ago, luxury trains went directly from St. Gallen to Paris – and passengers returned home with a little of the French joie de vivre. Brasserie LOK seeks to revive this link: with authentic brasserie cuisine and plenty of verve.

Brasserie LOK is situated in the hall of the former locomotive depot at St. Gallen Central Station – in the midst of the art and culture that have also found their home here. An inspiring mix!

What do the guests order, what does the chef love?

The guests often like to start their culinary journey with the homemade duck liver terrine served with plum chutney and lukewarm brioche. The main course is naturally beef entrecôte – LOK-style: topped with Café de Paris and served with homemade French fries. And what is the chef’s meal of choice? The oysters with absinthe, pumpernickel, and sauce mignonette as starter. This is followed by the filet of beef with duck liver terrine in truffle jus, homemade French fries and vegetables.

A tasty treat from the kitchen: The seventh oyster is on the house. Bon appétit!
