Airport Lounges in Geneva: Free entry with Amex
The Platinum Card from American Express gives you free access to these four airport lounges.
Everything You Need to Know at a Glance
There are currently seven airport lounges available at Geneva Airport. With the American Express Platinum Card, you can use four of them for free. These include the Swissport Horizon Lounge, two Marhaba Lounges, and the Crystal Lounge by Aspire—each offering food and drinks, workspaces, Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating.
You gain access to these comfortable lounges thanks to the “Priority Pass” membership included with the Platinum Card. This allows you to eat, work, or relax in comfort at Geneva Airport before your flight; the lounges typically allow stays of up to three hours. Gold Card holders receive complimentary access to lounges like these twice a year.
Swissport Horizon Lounge: cozy atmosphere in the middle of the terminal
The Swissport Horizon Lounge is located in Terminal 1 after the security check on the right-hand side on the mezzanine floor. The rather small airport lounge, which is very cozy with its wooden look and black furniture, offers various amenities: a large selection of food and drinks, well-equipped workstations and comfortable seating.
Hours: The barrier-free Swissport Horizon Lounge is open daily from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the stay is limited to three hours.
Marhaba Lounges: pampering at a high level
There are two Marhaba Lounges in Geneva, one in Terminal 1 and one in the east wing, from where non-Schengen flights depart. In the main terminal you will find the lounge after the security check on the left-hand side on the mezzanine floor, in the east wing at the level of gate C54 on the second floor.
You can access both Marhaba Lounges free of charge with the Platinum Card. Both offer a well thought-out lounge concept with free drinks and a wide range of food, plus all the utensils you need to get to work.
Crystal Lounge by Aspire: modern glass complex
The Crystal Lounge by Aspire is probably the most stylish airport lounge at Geneva Airport - and can also be used free of charge by Platinum Card members. It is located in the east wing above piers C53 and C54 and is accessible to passengers on non-Schengen flights.
Attention was paid to every detail in the interior design: The coordinated room dividers, lights and furniture create a stylish atmosphere. The zones for working, eating and relaxing are spatially separated in the newest lounge at Geneva Airport.
