Convert points from American Express Rewards into miles
How to transfer Membership Rewards points from American Express into flight miles:
Select the "Transfer points to partner programs" category in the "Travel" section of the rewards shop.
Click on your preferred airline.
Enter the number of points you want to transfer.
Enter your email address.
Click on "Transfer now".
To transfer points, you must be a member of the respective airline’s frequent flyer program. Since the transfer may take a few days, it’s best to start the process well in advance of booking your flight.
The number of miles you receive for your Membership Rewards points varies; the exchange rate depends on the specific airline. Typically, it is one mile for every two Membership Rewards points. Generally, there is a minimum number of points that must be exchanged, for example, 1,000 points.
