American Express offers you the attractive opportunity to collect points with every payment via the Membership Rewards program. Simply register to take part in the program and get bonus points when you make payments with an American Express credit card. You can collect points as the holder of one of the following cards:

• American Express Platinum Card
• American Express Gold Card
• American Express Card

The points you collect can be exchanged for attractive rewards in the Membership Rewards shop. Or you can pay with your points at around 60,000 selected shops, online stores and restaurants. Convert points from American Express Rewards into miles

How to transfer Membership Rewards points from American Express into flight miles:

1. Select the "Transfer points to partner programs" category in the "Travel" section of the rewards shop.

2. Click on your preferred airline.

3. Enter the number of points you want to transfer.

4. Enter your email address.

5. Click on "Transfer now".

To transfer points, you need to be a member of the airline’s respective program. As the transfer can take a few days to complete, you should ideally start the points transfer in good time before booking your flight. The number of miles credited in return for Membership Rewards points depends on the airline. It is usually one mile for two Membership Rewards points. As a rule, there is a minimum number of points that must be exchanged, for example 1,000 points.
