Landgasthof "Seelust" in Egnach: fantastic location, fine food

In the idyllic Oberthurgau region, the "Seelust" country inn offers a menu with many meat dishes of a consistently high standard. If you prefer fish or vegetarian food, you will also find what you are looking for. And these preferences can also be reflected in a menu at a very good price-performance ratio.

The fish usually comes from Lake Constance and the other ingredients from the region. The restaurant guide GaultMillau gives this thoroughly market-fresh cuisine 13 points. Exquisite wines from Switzerland and other countries are stored in the wine cellar.

The "Seelust" country inn also has a terrace and a garden. Particularly in the warmer months, you can enjoy the picturesque surroundings while dining.

"Villa am See" in Goldach: Direct view of Lake Constance

The sensational location with a direct view of Lake Constance and the beautiful building are not the only reasons to visit the "Villa am See" in Goldach. The creations on the plates also attract regular guests and travelers alike.

The clearly laid out menu includes turbot and fillet of beef, unstuffed duck liver and vegetarian gnocchi. With the new lunch concept, you can choose dishes to share as starters before a main course is served and a dessert rounds off the feast.

In the evening, the gourmet program offers a choice of three to six-course menus, accompanied by fine wines. In summer, you can enjoy your time on the terrace of the award-winning Swiss restaurant on Lake Constance, or in the large pavilion if the weather is cooler or uncertain.

Interesting fact: GaultMillau awarded the "Villa am See" 15 points.

Restaurant hotel "Römerhof" in Arbon: Gourmet temple within historic walls

Restaurant "Seegarten" in Kreuzlingen: Seafood deluxe

The "Seegarten" is one of the most elegant Swiss restaurants on Lake Constance, with a sophisticated terrace right on the Kreuzlingen marina. The specialties on offer change regularly, but mostly remain within the traditional Swiss framework with an Italian influence: homemade pasta, gnocchi, risotto, handmade ravioli or succulent braised veal cheeks.

The gourmet restaurant, which has been awarded 15 GaultMillau points, is known far beyond its borders for its seafood, be it lobster salad or grilled langoustine. So make yourself "gluschtig", as the restaurant crew puts it, and reserve a table after a nice walk along the lakeside promenade.

Interesting fact: At the traditional "Festival de Fruits de Mer" in the "Seegarten" restaurant, which takes place every year between the last week of November and the end of January, very special dishes are created from the sea.

"GaultMillau POP!" and "Züri isst"

This includes restaurants and bars that do not necessarily score points in GaultMillau, but whose concepts appeal to a lifestyle-oriented audience.
