Everything you need to know at a glance
With an American Express Platinum Card and the included Priority Pass membership, you’ll receive free access to numerous airport lounges at Changi Airport in Singapore, regardless of airline or booking class. Options include the Marhaba, Plaza Premium, SATS Premier, Blossom, and Ambassador Transit lounges in Terminals 1 through 4.
Airport lounges typically offer food and beverages, Wi-Fi, showers, and, in some cases, massage chairs or work areas. Generally, you can stay for up to three hours for free, though access rules, occupancy, and amenities may vary by lounge. The American Express Gold Card also allows for two free lounge visits per year at participating lounges.
Marhaba lounges: round-the-clock views of the tarmac
The Marhaba Lounges are part of the Emirates Group and can also be found at Swiss airports in Geneva and Zurich. You can visit two of these lounges at Singapore Changi International Airport. They are known for their warm welcome, cozy atmosphere, delicious culinary offerings, and service that leaves nothing to be desired.
The lounges, which offer views of the tarmac, are open around the clock. One Marhaba Lounge is located in Terminal 3 on Level 3. After passing through passport control, walk straight ahead and then take the escalator on the right-hand side up. This will take you directly to the lounge across from Singapore Food Street.
The second Marhaba Lounge is located in Terminal 1, above the passport control area in the departure hall for transit flights. After passport control, turn right and take the escalator up one level. The lounge is located across from the “Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao” restaurant.
Plaza Premium Lounge: You can’t get much more space than this
In the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 1, you’re guaranteed to find the perfect spot to relax or work – the lounge spans a total of 650 square meters. In addition to the standard lounge amenities, there are private retreat rooms, shower facilities (including an accessible shower), massage services, and local delicacies such as Singapore Laksa and Hainanese Chicken Rice, all prepared on-site.
The Plaza Premium Lounge is open 24 hours a day; it’s located past security on Level 3, past Gate C1, with a view of the tarmac.
SATS premier lounges: pure relaxation in a massage chair
There is one SATS Premier Lounge in each of Terminals 1, 2, and 3 at Singapore Changi Airport. All are located in the airside transit area on Level 3, are open 24 hours a day, and offer a lavish buffet, refreshments, Wi-Fi, and showers.
The largest of the three lounges is located in Terminal 1, where you’ll find numerous work stations, OSIM massage chairs, and spacious dining and shower areas. The most modern of the three lounges is in Terminal 3, featuring a contemporary design with local Singaporean touches.
Interesting fact: The SATS Premier Lounge at Singapore Terminal 3 was voted one of the top ten Priority Lounges in the world by 52,000 Priority Pass members.
Blossom lounge: relaxed departures from terminal 4
Start your vacation in style at the Blossom Lounge, which is also part of the Plaza Premium Lounges network. The comprehensive range of services and amenities includes modern showers, massages (for a fee), and a selection of food and drinks at the tapas bar.
The lounge is located in the Heritage Zone on the mezzanine level (Level 2), right next to the Cathay Pacific Lounge. This airport lounge in Singapore is open 24 hours a day.
Ambassador transit lounges: state-of-the-art amenities, including a fitness center
The two Ambassador Transit Lounges at Singapore Changi International Airport are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities. Highlight: For fitness enthusiasts, a fitness center (for a fee) is available in the lounge in Terminal 2. Those who prefer to work can do so either in the separate workspace or in the conference rooms with colleagues.
There’s also premium food and a selection of beverages, such as beer and wine. Another perk: Children under six years of age are admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult. The lounges are located on the third level of both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 and are open 24 hours a day.
Interesting fact: In the Ambassador Transit Lounges, you can book a nap suite for a fee – it’s a private room with a single bed.
