Good to know: Bookings and payments are made via the SIXT app or website and don’t apply to taxi bookings or other instant booking options. You are credited with the full travel credit again each year; any credit not redeemed expires.

How exactly do you get your SIXT ride credit with your American Express Platinum Card?
It’s easy:
- Register for your credit via the SIXT website for the Platinum Benefit. You will need to enter a few details. Once you have successfully registered, you will be informed by email.
- If you already have an account with SIXT, your credit will be deposited there and you will be informed by email. If you don’t have an account, you will receive instructions on how to register.
- After registering your account, you will get an email with a link to confirm your registration.
- If you then log in to the SIXT app, you will see your Platinum Card advantage.
To start a booking and use your credit, go to the "SIXT ride" area in the app. There, enter your pick-up and destination addresses and select your preferred vehicle category.
Good to know: Assuming you have sufficient credit, the CHF 25 per ride will be automatically deducted from qualifying bookings. You don’t need to do anything else.
