The ZSC Lions have been one of the biggest sides in Swiss ice hockey for decades. Founded in 1930 as a skating club, the men’s team has won the Swiss championship some eleven times – and also secured itself an established place on the international stage, having taken the Champions Hockey League title to Zurich in 2009 and 2025. Winners of nine Swiss championships, the ZSC Lions women’s team is also very successful.
The "Zett", as they are affectionately called by their fans, are deeply rooted in Zurich, and represent intensity, pace, and a special connection with the public. This makes their games more than just matches – they are events that have found friends far beyond their fan base.
