American Express® Gold Card

¹ As part of the promotion, new customers will receive 35,000 additional Membership Rewards bonus points for the  American Express Gold® Card issued by Swisscard AECS GmbH, provided they submit the card application between 12.11.2025 and 06.01.2026 (the date of receipt according to the digital time stamp applies) and use the promo code of their friend. A new customer is a natural person who is neither the holder of the American Express Gold® Card applied for nor has not already held a (principal) American Express Gold® Card in the last 18 months.

If the new client terminates the card agreement within 13 months of the cards being issued, any bonus Membership Rewards® points still in the principal cardholder’s account will be cancelled without replacement and the full instead of the reduced annual fee for the first year will be due (the difference will be charged).

This promotion code may not be combined with other promotions, promotion codes or special offers. Only one promotion code can be used per credit card application. There is no entitlement to claim a cash payment. There is no right to appeal Membership Rewards points cannot be credited for any rejected card applications, additional cards, secondary cards or cards that were applied using a card application process other than the online card application process for the American Express Gold® Card and without the personal promotion code (recommendation code) being entered. The points are credited within 8 weeks at the latest after the recommended American Express Gold® Card is issued and requires card use. Points will be granted no more than once per recommended person. It is possible for the person making the recommendation to draw conclusions about the card product issued or not issued from the credit or the absence of credit.

³ The principal cardholder of an American Express® Gold Card issued by Swisscard AECS GmbH will receive a credit of CHF 25 to their card account once per quarter, provided they or the additional cardholder have paid for a meal of at least CHF 80 at a Swiss restaurant or delivery service participating in the promotion and paid with the American Express® Gold Card. Swisscard generally credits the card account of the principal cardholder within one week.

⁴ Access to Priority Pass lounges requires a valid Priority Pass membership card. The fees and General Terms and Conditions of Priority Pass Ltd. and the participating lounges apply. Swisscard AECS GmbH does not assume any warranty for offers and benefits of Priority Pass Ltd. and disclaims all liability. The principal cardholder receives complimentary access to the Priority Pass lounges twice per year; each additional admission costs USD 35.

⁵ Except for fees, interest, chargebacks, cash withdrawals, payments for money transfers and currency exchanges (incl. into monetary surrogates, such as cryptocurrencies, traveler’s checks and topping up cashless means of payment, etc.) or transfers to securities brokers, payments for services in connection with the card (e.g. optional insurance plans) as well as for gambling or any activities similar to gambling or games of chance.

It cannot be paid out in cash. The person renting the car must be at least 21 years old. Some booking periods may not be eligible for the discount. The benefits are provided by Rentalcars.com and their General Terms and Conditions apply. Swisscard AECS GmbH assumes no liability for these benefits, which are generally available on a limited basis.

⁹ Up to CHF 3,000 per year will be compensated for repairs or replacement of purchased equipment. The purchased device must have a value of at least CHF 100 and must not be older than four years in case of damage.
