You collect valuable Membership Rewards points1 (CHF 1 spent on card = 1 point) with every payment for daily shopping, at a restaurant or for online shopping using your American Express® Gold Card, which you can use for exciting rewards such as travel bookings or vouchers. The Membership Rewards points do not expire, as long as you are the holder of a valid American Express® Card that participates in the Membership Rewards program.
Pay with Points: Pay for purchases with points
You can now pay for selected purchases you made with your American Express® Gold Card with Membership Rewards points using the Pay with Points feature2 directly in the Swisscard app.
1 Except for fees, interest, back-charges, cash withdrawals, payments for bank transfers and currency exchanges (also into monetary surrogates such as cryptocurrencies, Travelers Cheques, topping up cashless payment methods etc.) as well as payments to securities brokers, payments for services associated with the card (e.g. optional insurance) and any gaming or similar gambling transactions.
