Important information regarding Travel Cancellation Insurance

We are receiving many Travel Cancellation Insurance inquiries related to the COVID-19 pandemic (coronavirus). Please note the following points:

  • If a trip is canceled, the organizer is always responsible as the contractual partner, for example the airline or the travel agency. We recommend that you contact the organizer first (airline, hotel, rental car). In many cases, services already booked, such as flights or hotel accommodation, can be canceled or rebooked free of charge.
  • If you do not receive any support from your tour operator or booking portal or if you have further concerns regarding insurance, please contact the insurer.
