1 The principal cardholder of an American Express Platinum Card issued by Swisscard AECS GmbH will receive CHF 40 credited to their card account once per quarter if they or the additional cardholder have paid for consumption worth at least CHF 250 in a Swiss GaultMillau restaurant participating in the promotion (and accepting American Express) with their American Express Platinum Card in one single transaction. This amount is generally credited to the principal cardholder’s card account by Swisscard within a week. This advantage applies from January 1, 2025 until December 31, 2026.

Shopping with insurance cover
The Platinum Card comes with a comprehensive insurance package so you can enjoy a worry-free shopping experience. You simply pay using your Platinum Card and are ideally protected when shopping.2
1 Principal of an American Express Platinum Card issued by Swisscard AECS GmbH receive a 10% discount on purchases made by Platinum Card at Gübelin boutiques in Switzerland and in the TimeVallée boutique in Lucerne. The discount is 5% for diamond jewelry. The maximum (annual) discount amount is CHF 1,500 (corresponding to a purchase of CHF 15,000 or CHF 30,000 for diamond jewelry). The cardholder must present their Platinum Card at the cash desk before paying with it. The discount will then be deducted directly from the purchase price in the shop. The discount does not apply to online transactions (e.g. in web shops), shop-in-shop purchases (e.g. in department stores), goods from the "Patek Philippe" brand, limited editions of other brands and the purchase of gift vouchers. Every time you use1 your Platinum Card, you earn valuable points for the Membership Rewards program. This means you receive 1 Membership Rewards point for every1 franc spent (CHF 1 card turnover = 1 point). You can exchange your points for attractive rewards, miles or your next trip at any time. You will keep your points as long as you have a valid American Express® Card participating in the Membership Rewards program.
Pay with Points: Pay for your shopping with points
Selected purchases that you pay for with your Platinum Card® can be settled with Membership Rewards points directly in the Swisscard app using the “Pay with Points” function.2
